| Medical Liability Monitor’s annual rate survey reports the medical liability insurance rates of all the major insurers of physicians in the United States. Rates are reported by state and territories within states, by insurer and for three medical specialties. Liability insurance rates for internal medicine, general surgery and OB/GYN specialists are reported to reflect the wide range of rates among specialties. Detailed information on patient compensation fund states is also included to provide an accurate picture of what physicians pay in these states. Because Medical Liability Monitor has been collecting and reporting this data since 1991, we have the most comprehensive data history anywhere and one that is consistently cited by government agencies, legislative bodies and major media.
The rate survey is free for subscribers. Others may purchase the 2010 survey for $300. A set of all previous surveys - 1991 through 2009 - is available for $200.
